Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry or request on this site (for example a property management inquiry, rental analysis, consultation request, home value request, lender referral, or access to our calculator or pricing), we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, property count, property information, and any details you include in your message. If you use the chat assistant, we receive the messages you type. We also receive technical information generated when you use the site, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and the actions you take, as described under “Cookies, analytics, and advertising” below.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, evaluate the services you request, communicate with you, maintain business records, protect the site, and comply with applicable law. We also use technical information to understand how the site is used, measure and improve our marketing, and show our advertising to people who have visited the site. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

Form processing and service providers

Information you submit through our forms is delivered to the Horizon team by email and may be added to our customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can follow up with you. We use service providers to operate the site and our business, including website hosting and analytics (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), our CRM (LeadSimple), and an AI service that generates replies in the chat assistant (Anthropic), which receives the messages you type into the chat. Please do not include sensitive information, such as financial account or government ID numbers, in a form or chat message.

Some features link to or embed services run by other companies, including rental listings and applications (RentEngine) and the resident and owner portals (AppFolio). Those services collect and use information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, including pixels and tags, to operate the site, remember your access to gated pages, measure site traffic, and measure and improve our advertising. These include:

• Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics, which report how visitors use the site.
• Google Tag Manager, which lets us manage the measurement and advertising tags on the site.
• Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells us when a visit from a Google ad leads to an action such as a form submission.
• The Meta Pixel, which tells us when a visit from a Facebook or Instagram ad leads to an action, and lets us show our ads to people who have visited the site.

These tools collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you view, the links you click, and whether you submit a form. The companies that provide them may receive this information directly from your browser and may use it under their own privacy policies, including to show you ads on their platforms and elsewhere. Under some state laws, this kind of advertising may be described as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.”

You can limit these technologies by:

• Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Adjusting your Google ad settings and your Meta ad preferences.
• Using the opt-out tools from the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.
• Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. The site may not work fully if you do.

Other service providers

Other providers may support communications, security, and business operations. Their handling of information is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and applicable legal or business requirements. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, subject to legal and recordkeeping obligations.

Children and policy updates

This site is intended for adults seeking real estate services and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
