Scammers may copy Horizon rental listings and impersonate our team. Protect yourself:

• •Horizon does NOT offer rent-to-own programs.
• •Always verify the property and rental price on our official Horizon listings page: https://horizonrealtymgmt.com/rentals. The rent advertised on our official listings page is the correct rent. If anyone gives you a different price, you are communicating with a scammer.
• •All Horizon rental applications are completed ONLY through RentEngine. Horizon will never ask you to complete an application through another website, by email, by text message, or through a third-party payment link.
• •NEVER share the verification or access code generated by RentEngine. This code is for you only. Horizon will never ask you to provide this code to someone else.
• •Horizon will NEVER provide a lockbox code over the phone.
• •NEVER send screenshots of your communications, verification messages, codes, or showing instructions to anyone. Scammers use these screenshots to learn our process and scam other prospective tenants.
• •Horizon will NEVER ask you to pay a deposit or rent before completing our official RentEngine application and approval process.
• •Never send money through Zelle, Cash App, or another payment method or follow alternate payment or property access instructions without verifying them directly with Horizon.
• •Keys must always be returned to the original lockbox after your showing.
